Finding Ourselves in Each Other
To feel
To understand
To remember our shared humanity
Purpose
To invite community members into an honest, heart-centered conversation about immigration, identity, and healing—using my memoir as the starting point.
Why this talk matters for your Community
This conversation invites everyone to be part of building stronger, more connected communities by exploring:
Why immigrant experiences impact everyone’s well-being and community harmony
How to reduce cultural misunderstandings, isolation, and trauma
How to talk about immigration with empathy—not politics
How to create safe, welcoming spaces for immigrant families
Because when we understand each other, we all thrive.
As someone who grew up undocumented in the United States, I carry stories of silence and strength, of fear and hope, of survival and love. These stories aren’t just mine—they belong to millions of immigrant families navigating daily life in the shadows, often unseen and unheard.
I’m opening space for communities, organizations, book clubs, and houses of faith to come together—not to debate policy, but to deepen compassion. To talk honestly about immigrant realities. To explore how we can care for immigrant children and families. How we can tend to the mental health of our neighbors. How we can begin to bridge divides, heal wounds, and reclaim the soul of our shared humanity.
This speaking series is a call to action rooted in love:
To support immigrant families with dignity
To humanize the immigration dialogue
To unite across differences with compassion
To understand each other better
To tap into our higher selves for the good of all
Let’s gather in conversation. Let’s co-create a culture of care.
